Hi! My name is Libby Osgood, I’m a sister of the Congregation of Notre Dame and an engineering professor at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, PEI.

I’m excited about this opportunity to take in the beauty of PEI trails, God’s gift to this little island, alongside friends, sisters, and new acquaintances. My first year on PEI, I biked the Island from one end to the other, much of it with my little dog in a back-pack.

The issue I am most concerned about is care for creation. We live in the Anthropocene, a time that is defined by the massive effect that human activity has on literally everything on the earth. Since we are called to care for the most vulnerable of our society, we must remember it is the poor who are most affected by these changes and act now to ensure a safe environment for future generations.
